Tourists from abroad, as well as from within Israel, walk through the Old City's intricate alleyways, worship at her myriad holy sites, eat of her sundry delicacies, and overall experience her historical importance.
During the day, the Old City is a magnet for tourists, however, few tourists really experience the Old City after nightfall. This is soon to change with the "Nights in the Old City" weekly events!
As of Thursday, May 16, 2013 the Jerusalem Development Authority, in cooperation with the Prime Minister and the Jerusalem Municipality, is renewing "Nights in the Old City" with unique nighttime events, activities and attractions. These activities are held every Thursday evening through 2013 in the Old City of Jerusalem, offering extended hours at popular venues, allowing you to diversify your Jerusalem touring experience with evening tours.
A variety of enthralling tour meet-ups, culinary tastings, events at theater ventures, and authentic musical performances are on the slate, only at night and only in the Old City!
